Tennessee is averaging 148 yards per game and 4.8 yards per attempt on the ground. That’s good for sixth in the league. Meanwhile, the Colts are only giving up 83 yards per game and 3.3 yards per attempt in the running game.

Indianapolis is third in the league in run defense, third in pass defense, and leads the NFL in total defense. The Titans are 25th in total defense and 27th against the pass. They have a +10 turnover ratio, the only reason they’ve been able to run their record to 6-2. Will they be part of our premium picks for the NFL?

For the Titans, their offense revolves around running back Derrick Henry and his 105 yards rushing per game. Tennessee will have to find a way to get Henry untracked against a tough Colts defense. The running game has enabled quarterback Ryan Tannehill to be very efficient in the passing game.

Tannehill is only averaging 237 passing yards a game, but he only has three interceptions with his 19 touchdowns. The Titans balanced offense has enabled them to score 29 points a game, seventh in the league.

The Colts have had to rely on their defense as they’ve been inconsistent on offense behind quarterback Philip Rivers. His seven interceptions have hurt the Colts as he’s thrown two in each of their three losses. The offense just isn’t explosive enough to withstand turnovers, especially against playoff-caliber opponents.

If you’re avidly into sports betting, you know for the Colts to win the game, they’ll need to limit turnovers and find a way to contain Henry. Their two best offensive efforts were in games where they avoided giving the ball to the other team. The Titans have somehow found ways to win, even when it seems they were outplayed.

This is a tough pick, but I have to go with the Colts. They should be able to make Tannehill beat them through the air. It was the model the Steelers used to hand the Titans their first loss.
