Two of the top scoring offenses meet for the 55th Lombardi Trophy on Sunday when Kansas City travels to Tampa to face the Buccaneers in their home stadium. It’s the first time in Super Bowl history that the host team could win in its own stadium. The game features two of the best quarterbacks - maybe the two best - in the game. This will be Tom Brady’s 10th Super Bowl. It will be the second straight for the Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes, the MVP of last year’s game. With that in mind, it’s worth noting that Brady and the Bucs’ offense has scored 30 or more points in six straight games. They erupted for 40-plus in their final two regular season games. Two weeks ago in the NFC championship game, Brady tossed three touchdown passes and the Bucs beat the conference’s No. 1 seed, Green Bay, 31-26. For the regular season, the Bucs finished third in scoring averaging 30.8 points per game. The last time Tampa Bay failed to score 30 points was in a Week 14 win over Minnesota, 26-14. The Chiefs finished sixth in the league in scoring during the regular season averaging 29.6 points per game. In their 38-24 AFC title game win, Mahomes was outstanding throwing for 325 yards and three touchdowns. The receiving duo of TE Travis Kelce and WR Tyreek Hill became the first pair in NFL history to have back-to-back 100-yard-plus receiving games in the postseason. Kelce led the team in receiving and has three postseason touchdowns. Hill had 170 receiving yards in the win over Buffalo. Both are threats to score at any time. The Over has cashed in four of the last six games for both Kansas City and Tampa Bay. The Over has hit in 13 of the Bucs’ last 20 games and that’s where Sunday’s game is headed. In seven of the last ten Super Bowls, the total has hit 51 or higher. The top online sportsbook know the last two Super Bowls have seen the Total go Under, but five of the past eight have gone Over. With these two offenses led by two of the best quarterbacks to ever play the game, look for a high-scoring game. Both teams averaged right around 30 points per game and have the weapons to score more. Super Bowl LV FREE PICK: OVER 56
