With the odds-feed down, here's my late-night Monday CBB official play.
HC Mark Few & the 26-5 Zags' have been here & done that several times the past decade as in taking control of the West Coast Conference into its final tournament game. Leading scorer Drew Timme, 21.1 PPG (skipped forgoing his senior year for the pros) enjoyed his team being ranked # 1 by the Associated Press for 40 of 56 weeks as he entered this season. What he really came back for was the gold that eluded him & the Zags' that were so close when they lost to Baylor in the finals in 2021. Enter HC Chris Gerlufsen & his Dons who'll be playing their 3rd game in 4 nights (just beat Santa Clara 93-87 in OT last night). They get to go up against a fresh Bulldogs' team who will be playing for just the 3rd time in 10 days. These 2 collided twice during the regular season with Gonzaga winning a nail-biter 77-75 on the road @ War Memorial Gym in the Sobrato Center before the Zags' recorded a convincing 99-81 triumph @ the McCarthey Athletic Center in Spokane. I'm looking for a focused Few squad to advance into the championship for a rubber match meeting with St. Mary's. Let's cruise down Tropicana Avenue to the Orleans Arena in Paradise to lay the lumber on the ML with the GONZAGA BULLDOGS as my 9 Star West Coast Wizardry Play!

Analysis: We're coming right back to ride Paul Mills' Golden Eagles. Yes, it sure is an advantage in having your top 6 scorers back for another season. I feel ORU backcourt tandem of floor general Max Abmas (22.3 PPG) & Isaac McBride (12.1 PPG) can consistently control the tempo throughout for this 28-4 team as they look to qualify for an automatic bid into March Madness. ORU won the first meeting 81-69 @ the Mabee Center in Tulsa before the HC John Tauer's 19-13 Tommies gave them a better game before losing 95-88 @ Schoenecker Arena in Saint Paul. The Tommies are heavily reliant on Andrew Rohde & Parker Bjorklund who've averaged 27 & 22 PPG respectively for the playoffs. Look for them to have trouble against the 3rd-best scoring club in the nation @ 84.1 PPG. Let's go to the Denny Sanford Premier Center for this Summit Conference Semi-Final to pay the ORAL ROBERTS GOLDEN EAGLES laying it on the ML as my 9 Star Summit Sizzler!
