Bet 1-- I'm expecting Zack Thompson to make the most of his ML home debut (was mostly relieving in the minors). With a 2.25 ERA in 4 inning of work, he should look sharp early on. The play is the Pittsburgh Pirates for NO SCORE-Inning 1. Bet 2-- Thompson should get team support from the Cards who are 5-1 @ home, 16-9 versus the NL Central, 20-11 versus losing teams & a perfect 7-0 versus a starter with a + 1.30 WHIP (walks & hits per inning pitched). The Bucos throw RHP Mitch Keller whose 5.46 ERA is nothing to brag about. What stands out is his 7.56 ERA @ night this season. The solidifiers have to be Pittsburgh being 9-19 versus the NL Central, 8-20 versus winning teams, 5-14 in Game 1's & 21-48 their last 69 in St. Louis. Take the ST. Saturday, June 11, 2022 Boston Red Sox vs. Seattle Mariners (MLB) - 10:10 PM EDT Premium Pick Pick: Money Line: 105 Boston Red Sox Rating: 9* Mike's Belmont Winning Exotics Plus MLB Double Play (LOSS) (LOSS) (WIN) Bet 1 is to play the "Seattle Mariners NO SCORE Inning 1" (Bottom of 1st only) as RHP Michael Wacha is a SMOOTH starter & has always pitched well versus this AL West club. The 2nd play is to take the BOSTON RED SOX for the game as a ML dog. Why? Numbers like Wacha as a dog has Boston 5-0 & the BoSox being 7-0 their L7 in the series are hard to ignore. Wacha is pretty solid with an overall 1.99 ERA & has his team 7-2 in his 9 starts this season. Seattle has also struggled in Game 2's of a series going 5-13 thus far. Solidifying the play looks @ Seattle being a struggling 5-13 versus the AL East while being a ho-hum 12-11 @ home. The dagger for us has to be Beantown being 16-5 versus the AL West & a road warrior-like 18-14 (tied for 2nd in road wins in the AL with the NYY). Ok, here's the Belmont Stakes plays in take-it-to-the window fashion. Play a $4 Exacta Wheel on 5,6,8 with 1,3,5,6,8. Play a Trifecta Wheel on 5,6,8 with 1,3,5,6,8 with 1,3,4,5,6,8. Play a Superfecta Wheel on 5,6,8 with 1,3,5,6,8 with 1,3,4,5,8 with 1,3,4,5,8. Play an insurance bet on #3 to win for $20. Let's get'em once again! NOTES: The Belmont wasn't as good as it was last year but we did hit a big EXACTA & my personal play release hit the winner with Mo Donegal. This #6 horse was methodical who started 6th @ the quarter & advanced up 1 exact spot every quarter-mile until really kicking it in down the stretch where he went 3rd to 1st in the last quarter-mile. However, it was more than disappointing when we were cashing the trifecta @ the top of the stretch mark but saw #1 We The People fall from 1st to 4th! The long shot #2 ran an over-the-head race & killed our shot @ bagging the holy grail 2 years in a row. In bases, the Red Sox with Wacha were even more heavily disappointing in a double loss that ended an 8-game winning streak. We're back on track though snapping back with 2 more wins to start a new streak. Expect high-yield results in MLB the rest of the way!
