Dallas should have a good chance to exploit the Tampa Bay Buccaneers when they come to Arlington on Thursday night. The Cowboys sit at 2-2 after beating Houston on the road 34-30, the Bucs have no wins this season and sit at 0-4. One factor that stands out is the QB matchup, Dallas will have Dak Prescott against Tampa Bay's injured QB Baker Mayfield. Tampa Bay will be starting Jalon Daniels who will only be making his second career start after throwing two interceptions in their 17-14 loss to Green Bay. Not only will he have to prepare for a short week but he'll be playing away from home against an offense that can score on you quickly. The Cowboys have averaged 30.5 points a game which is very impressive. Dak went off for 335 passing yards against Houston and had CeeDee Lamb catch 17 balls for 189 yards. Tampa Bay will be missing some key defenders in Antoine Winfield Jr and Benjamin Morrison which should open up some deep shots for Prescott. They should be able to keep the chains moving as well and Tampa Bay won't be able to generate much pressure which will allow Prescott more time to throw the ball to Lamb and George Pickens. Dallas is 3-1 against the spread this season, Tampa Bay has not covered a single game. One thing that can hurt Dallas is their defense, they have allowed a lot of points. But with Tampa Bay having a weak QB situation and not being able to score points consistently they shouldn't be able to take advantage. I think Dallas will get an early lead and put Daniels in some obvious situations. I would expect the Cowboys to cover the number at home. Jim's Play: 308. Cowboys

I like South Florida as I see good value in them to cover here as they head into San Antonio on Thursday night to take on the Roadrunners. Both teams are 4-1 but South Florida has been stingy on the defensive side of the ball allowing only 14.6 points and 312.4 yards per game. UTSA has given up 26.2 points and 407 yards per game. South Florida lost at home to Temple 17-13 last week so they should be fired up to play well on the road. With QB Michael Van Buren and RB D.J. Crowther they can attack UTSA who have allowed nearly 200 yards rushing per game. If South Florida can establish the run they will be able to keep the ball on the field and wear down UTSA QB Owen McCown. South Florida has won both of their road games this season so they should be a good bet even though UTSA is at home. UTSA was only able to score 16 points last week against Rice so they have some issues on offense as well. South Florida's defense should be able to keep McCown in check if they can apply pressure like they did last season when they sacked him 5 times in a 55-23 win. UTSA is very good at home so it may be tough to pick them to lose but I think South Florida can keep this game close. Expect a better offensive showing from South Florida and a close game.
