Take the Nuggets Both teams deserve to be here, make no mistake about it.  Denver was the #1 seed out West and easily took care of their opponents.  Miami might be the #8 seed from the East but nobody has played with more intensity in these playoffs.  However, for this first game I think the Heat will look a little spent.  It's a quick turnaround for the Heat from their grueling 7 game series with the Celtics and now they will be playing in the mile high air of Denver.  On the court I believe that Miami continues to go to their zone defense often.  The problem though in this series will be Jokic.  I believe he will be the great equalizer against the Miami zone.  I feel this will be a great series but I like the Nuggets to cover the game #1 number.

Take the Mets on the run line We cashed in with the Mets the first two games of this series and I like them to get the sweep against the Phillies this afternoon.  The Mets dominated the Phillies last year and are doing the same this season so far.  The Phillies are slumping at the plate and can't hit at all with men in scoring position.  After a slow start to the season Mets starter Scherzer is really starting to come around.  Phillies starter Walker is still searching for his groove.  Mets get the sweep and we cash in on the run line for some plus money.

Take the Twins on the run line At first glance we see that the Guardians starter Bibee has been the much more impressive starter when compared with Twins' Lopez.  However, I think we see some regression in this game for the rookie Bibee.  The Twins are coming into this game off of a nice win at Houston where they put up 8 runs.  I believe their bats can keep that going against Bibee who's numbers aren't as good on the road.  Lopez has been serviceable for the Twins and I expect a good outing from him as he needs to step it up at home.
