Tonight is Game 5 of the NBA Championship. The Warriors lead the Cavs 3 games to 1. I just heard a player say that the pressure is on the Warriors! Excuse me- The pressure is on the team that is up 3 to 1, plus would have 2 of the 3 games at home. He went on to say that the Warriors added Kevin Durant to a team that won over 70 games last year. Unless you were living under a rock the Warrior ... read more |

Follow the line movement |
Sep 15, 2016 |
Last weekend let's look at two games where the line went up and down like a roller coaster. Let's start in the Colleges with Arkansas and TCU. The line started TCU around 9 to 9.5 and went down to 7 to 7.5. I put out Arkansas at plus 7.5. I was upset with myself for not pulling the trigger at 8 or 8.5. Well Saturday afternoon with a couple of hours before kick off the line rose all the way to 1 ... read more |

In Sports there is a stat and a number for everything. We apply it in handicapping in hopes of beating the spread, side or total. Basically everyone has the same information (some handicappers have better than others) so you would think everyone would come to the same conclusion. 'NOPE'! There are different variables that people look at when handicapping a game. Let's face you can be on the ... read more |
Detroit Tigers Over 82.5 Wins -1.35 |
Mar 31, 2016 |
The best thing about the 2015 season for the Tigers is the season is over and in the rear view mirror. The 74 wins is the low point. Before last year the Tigers were averaging 91 victories a year from 2011 to 2014. The fate of the Tigers goes back to pitcher Justin Verlander. Last year Justin was just 5-8 with a decent era of 3.28. Arm injuries have held back the former Cy Young & MVP. From ... read more |

The other night I was looking at the odds and reading some articles, (like everybody does) and the Denver/Dallas NBA match up was about to come on. Early that morning after I did my home work (handicapping) I couldn't make up my mind on going with Denver plus the points (+5.5) or taking the Over 208. The entire day I kept thinking about the game. Well to make a long story short I ended up passi ... read more |

Is it time to get rid of the NFL Pro Bowl? Voting has turned into a popularity contest. You have 2 X-NFL players choosing up teams. Was moving the game the week before the Super Bowl a mistake? This is very simple, however players sometimes just don't get it. The 'DBS' is 'Don't Be Stupid'. Don't be stupid as don't make ... read more |
