Short of Michael Jordan coming out of retirement and signing a game to game contract with the New Orleans Pelicans; the Warriors are a shoe in to make it back to the Western Conference finals. What they are doing is absolutely special and a nightly clinic is put on by someone different. On Sunday it was once again Kevin Durant. He put on a show with 38 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists and led the team to a 3-1 lead in the best of seven. Where Are the Profits-for the Gambler or the Bookie? Let’s face the facts; New Orleans has some talented players with the likes of Davis but they are not ready. Yes, they figured it out in game three with a 19 point win over the Warriors and that was predictable. That is what was supposed to happen and it did just like clockwork. Now, this thing is over and the Warriors will be moving on to face the Rockets in the Western conference finals. (No, the Rockets series is not over) but we are predicting it. Utah is talented as well, but not nearly enough gas in the tank to beat the Rockets. The upcoming series between the Warriors is going to be a good one and before the end of the week we will know a series price. This is going to be interesting indeed. Can the Rockets finally get over the hump of losing and make it to the NBA Finals? The offshore Sportsbooks are preparing for this series as we speak and they will set the industry standard for lines and odds in this one. Stephen Curry is coming off an injury in which he missed most of March and all of April to end the regular season and really, he never missed a beat and poured in 23 points, Klay Thompson added 13 and reserve Quinn Cook had 12. 10 Star Picks : Surprising Diamondbacks Leading NL West Nobody matches up well with the Warriors except for the Rockets. Davis had 26 points in Sunday’s loss along with 12 rebounds but this is the problem for most every other team in the league; they don’t have four players that can score at will and well really, five players. The Warriors have changed nothing, they are doing the same thing that has brought them to this place for the last several years. Can they beat the Rockets? Without question. The Rockets opened up this season in Golden State and got the victory in a fierce battle that ended by a final of 122-121. These two play each other to the bone, the matchups are great and the battle is on every time they suit up. What this series comes down to is “behind the arc”. Who has a better shooting series from downtown? This will determine the outcome. NBA Basketball – Built for Betting on Live Lines The Warriors are a better shooting basketball team from three point land on paper and they have threats from all sides of the court in four of the five starters. This group of players has improved their shooting over the last year and it only gets better. The Rockets have the ability to go toe to toe from downtown with Harden, Paul, Gordon, Green and Ariza. They can all shoot and when one is cold the other is hot. Both the Rockets and the Warriors can run a marathon and neither will tire or fatigue. Fast paced is the name of the game in this series and you can bet you will see it, however, the Rockets have found defense and that makes this series interesting and dangerous. With an offense to nearly match and a better defense than the Warriors, this one will be interesting.
