Week 15 of the NFL regular season will kick off with an AFC matchup on Thursday Night Football. The red-hot Baltimore Ravens will host the improving New York Jets in a game that will have a huge spread. Baltimore is trying to lock up the top overall seed in the AFC Playoffs, and the New York Jets are hurting their draft odds with every win that they collect. These two teams both have young quarterbacks that have played well this season, but the Ravens come into this game with a much better overall roster.

Baltimore leads the AFC with an 11-2 record up to this point, and the Ravens are showing no signs of slowing down. Baltimore has won nine straight games since starting off the season with a record of 2-2, and they have beaten some terrific teams along the way. New York has actually been playing much better of late, and they have won four of their last five games. Ravens Rushing Attack is Hard to Stop

The Baltimore Ravens continue to run the football at a historic rate, and few teams have been able to slow them down this season. Baltimore is averaging over 200 rushing yards per game, and quarterback Lamar Jackson is a big reason for these numbers. Jackson leads the team with over 1,000 rushing yards and is putting up numbers that have never been seen before in the NFL. The Ravens are also leading the NFL with 33.1 points per game, and they should have another huge game in this one.

Defense has been an issue at times for the Baltimore Ravens, but their offense has usually been good enough to bail them out. Baltimore is giving up just 18.2 points per game, and their defense has spent a ton of time on the field this season. Linebacker Matthew Judon leads the team with 8.5 sacks this season, and he will spend some time in the Jets backfield in this game.

Jets Just Not Scoring Points

The National Football League has turned into an offensive league, and it’s important to score a ton of points in order to win games. Scoring points has been a big problem for the Jets as they are averaging just over 17 points per game. New York is one of the worst passing teams in the league at just 195 passing yards per game, despite quarterback Sam Darnold playing great of late. The Jets are averaging just 75 rushing yards per game as well, and their offense could face some real problems against a stout Ravens defense.

The New York Jets were struggling on defense to begin the season as well, but it appears that they have corrected some of their mistakes. New York is allowing just 23 points per game in 2019, which should be good enough to win on most nights. The Jets have recorded 29 sacks already this season, but it will be their run defense that is tested in this game.

Baltimore Blows Out New York Jets

There are plenty of terrific matchups on the schedule this week around the National Football League, but this game will not be one of them. The Baltimore Ravens have been blowing teams out all season long, and that will likely happen again in this game. New York has won four of their last five games, but those wins have come against some pretty bad teams. The Jets don’t have the offense to keep up in this game, and they also don’t have the defense to slow down the Ravens. Don’t expect this game to be close for long as the Ravens cruise to victory.
