Monster CFB Weekend Ahead - RANKED VS. RANKED

By Tony George Another head scratching weekend for many in College Football. Wild covers, anything was possible, insane plays, and many teams identity was established either good or bad. Many a Professional Handicapper had a good weekend in College Football, myself included, as things are sorting out and a lot more stats versus guesswork proved to be the difference between a win and loss but none the less still some stunning results. Shockers were in order, USC and UCLA both blowing out their opponents, Utah hammering the Ducks at home, Mizzou falling to Kentucky, Virginia Tech going down to ECU, Michigan destroying BYU just to name a few. Is it redemption week for many or will the ball continue to bounce the wrong way for some of the more hyped up teams failing to perform? A look at the lines from Las Vegas early on here tells me there is AMPLE opportunity this weekend for smart and sharp players. The Games below all go down this weekend – I suggest there are some gems in here against the line and also suggest looking at some under the radar games this Saturday as well, as these games will have active public money and public line moves on them No. 3 Ole Miss at No. 25 Florida. Gators off a huge win – how much is in the tank? No. 6 Notre Dame at No. 12 Clemson. Two teams winning despite key losses and injuries. No. 13 Alabama at No. 8 Georgia. The Tide has not started 3-2 since 2007, coach Nick Saban's first season. No. 21 Mississippi State at No. 14 Texas A&M. Aggies got beat up by Dak Prescott and the Bulldogs last year. No. 23 West Virginia at No. 15 Oklahoma. Big 12 schedule maker did the Mountaineers no favors: Face Sooners, TCU and Baylor on the road over the next four weeks. Plus these games matching ranked teams against unbeaten teams: No. 1 Ohio State at Indiana (4-0) Iowa (4-0) at No. 19 Wisconsin. While Northwestern (4-0) is not ranked – they are unbeaten and take on a tough Minnesota team (3-1) this week on the Northshore. With a win the Wildcats will be ranked.
