Duke vs. Virginia (NCAAF) - 12:20 PM EDT Premium Pick
Pick: Money Line: -126 Virginia Pick Title: 9 Star ACC Upriser (WIN)
Guys, don't let anyone kid you! HC Bronco Mendenhall has a talented bunch of Cavaliers this season. Not only is his team off of back-to-back impressive performances, but they're coming in with 2 weeks to prep for this game. DC Nick Howell has 8 defensive returnees and has grasped the systems many years since being with Mendenhall for 9 years @ BYU. QB Kurt Benkert isn't showing any lack of productivity firing 10 TD's passes against 1 INT. Don't look for 6 TO's from revenge-minded Duke like last season, but the Blue Devils will have more than their hands full stopping this bowl-bound team (will be the 1st time since 11'). Let's make way to Charlottsville Scott Stadium to play the VIRGINIA CAVALIERS as my 9 Star ACC Upriser!
LSU vs. Florida (NCAAF) - 3:30 PM EDT Premium Pick
Pick: Money Line: -125 Florida Pick Title: 9 SEC Play Of The Week (LOSS)
These 2 teams are pretty even except in 2 key area. While many Jon Q. Publics' & mushes are hopping all over the L.S.U. Tigers this week, we won't share that same mentality. Like I've said for decades, LSU is a bookie team! They usually do the opposite of what's expected. What we're expecting here is a coaching edge with Gators' mentor Jim McElwain (now in his 3rd season -went to SEC Title game in his first 2) exercising the offensive playbook with some excellent wrinkles giving the home team a running start. HC Ed Orgeron & his Tigers aren't that scary anymore & Ed's voice is turning from deep to hoarse very quickly. My bottom line says that we can't ignore McElwain's success in Gainsville. He's 13-1 SU coming into this fracas. Let's go to the grass of "The Swamp" @ Ben Hill Griffin Stadium to play the FLORIDA GATORS as my 9 Star SEC Play Of The Week!
Minnesota vs. Purdue (NCAAF) - 3:30 PM EDT Premium Pick
Pick: Money Line: -165 Purdue Pick Title: 9 Star Emotional Rider (WIN)
This is definitely a "circled" game by the Boilers' in their quest for becoming bowl eligible. Purdue & 1st-year HC Jeff Brohm (came over from Western Kentucky where he was 30-10) have had 2 weeks to prepare for 1st-year HC P.J. Fleck (came over from Western Michigan-30-22 there). There will be nothing short of a very inspired & sky-high home team that we'll see today. QB David Blough will execute revenge for last year's 44-31 defeat where he threw for 4 TD's & 391 yards. Brohm's troops should eat Minny's secondary for lunch after the important blueprints were laid by Maryland @ TCF Stadium last week. My bottom line says inspirational football takes precedence here with the better offense playing their hearts out after the passing this week of their former HC Joe Tiller. Let's trek to Ross-Ade Stadium in West Lafayette to eagerly play the PURDUE BOILERMAKERS as my 9 Star Emotional Rider!
Notre Dame vs. North Carolina (NCAAF) - 3:30 PM EDT Premium Pick
Pick: Point Spread: -14.5/-100 Notre Dame Pick Title: 8 Star Public "Missed Perception" Play Of The Week (WIN)
Now that Notre Dame's sensational sophomore QB phenom Brandon Wimbush is hobbled, everyone & their grandmothers are eager to play against the Irish here. What a minute! They want to play the same team with a defense that just yielded 403 rushing yards (@ 6.1 YPC) to Georgia Tech & NOW have to face a Fighting Irish squad that's averaging 7.1 YPR? My bottom line says ND has way too many weapons to keep wrapped up for more than a few quarters. HC Brian Kelly's team could easily be undefeated if it weren't for a few more bounces their way against Georgia. Yes, NC redshirt freshman QB Chazz Surratt has shown shades of brilliance thus far. But facts don't lie as the majority of freshmen QB's are simply turnover prone. This game has blowout potential written all over it. Let's go to Kenan Memorial Stadium in Chapel Hill to grab the NOTRE DAME FIGHTING IRISH (buying to - 13 1/2 @ -140 as my 8 Star Public "Missed Perception" Play Of The Week!
West Virginia vs. TCU (NCAAF) - 3:30 PM EDT Premium Pick
Pick: Point Spread: -13.0/-109 TCU Pick Title: 9 Star Revenge Executor (LOSS)
T.C.U. is clearly playing like they don't want to slighted again like they did 3 years ago for a chance to play in the 1st CFB (FBS) Final Four Playoff. HC Gary Patterson (17th year here) seems to have a talented bunch that already went on the road & took care of business in upsetting Oklahoma State in Stillwater. We're not selling DC Chad Glasgow short after the T.C.U. defense shut down talented QB Mason Rudolph just 2 weeks ago. My bottom line says the Horned Frogs should be freshly whipped & ready after they prepped 2 weeks for this affair. West Virginia QB Will Grier (transfer from Florida) will be heavily taxed handily the dial-up pressures of the Horned Frogs' "D" that's yielded a very stingy 48% completions & a superior 5/6 TD/INT ratio to opposing QB's. The Mountaineers have played mainly patsies (with maybe Virginia Tech as the lone exception) while TCU is looking more-seasoned after playing Arkansas & Oklahoma State. Remember, the Horned Frogs were embarrassed 34-10 by WV last year in Morgantown. The dagger for us has to be Gary Patterson being a lights-out 13-2 ATS coming off a bye week. Let's go Forth Worth's Amon G. Carter Stadium to play the T.C.U. HORNED FROGS (buying to our number -10 1/2 @ -179) as my 9 Star Revenge Executor!
Stanford vs. Utah (NCAAF) - 10:15 PM EDT Premium Pick
Pick: Point Spread: 4.0/-110 Utah Pick Title: 9 Star Strategic Value Hostile Takeover (WIN)
These Utes do have an excellent run defense ranking in the Top 10 in CFB. That's perfect since they have to take on one of the nation's best in Stanford RB Bryce Love. I love this situation of a 4-0 SU &ATS team coming off a bye being home against a quality intra-conference opponent. I believe the Utes can limit turnovers & hang around @ the end for the possible upset. However, we'll play this @ OUR LINE & not the hard-luck driven adjusted line Vegas wants to seriously sucker us into. Let's jaunt up to Salt Lake City's Rice-Eccles Stadium to play the UTAH UTES (buying to + 7 1/2) forcing a double-digit road win as my 9 Star Strategic Value Hostile Takeover!

Louisville vs. NC State (NCAAF) - 8:00 PM EDT Premium Pick
Pick: Money Line: -160 Louisville Pick Title: 9 Star Thursday Night CFB Deja' Vu (LOSS)
Yes, NC State has improved since last season. However, I feel it still can't keep pace for 4 quarters with the dangerous passing of Lamar Jackson who torched the Wolfpack "D" for 54 points last season. Guess what? The Cardinals are still putting up BIG numbers averaging 40+ PPG & 6 yards a rush thus far. We might see a De' Ja Vu but of a lesser margin as Louisville's fresh & rested after their game with Murray State. However, NC State's "D" was well taxed last Saturday as Syracuse rang up yardage as well as 78 offensive plays. Let's throw the revenge factor OUT THE WINDOW! I'm just not buying it here. Let's also see how the Wolfpack responds to being nationally ranked. Look for Jackson to match the home team but outlast them in the end. North Carolina State has beaten the Cards once in 7 tries & that was back in the 2011 Belk Bowl by a 31-24 count. Let's travel to Raleigh's Carter-Finley Stadium to play the LOUISVILLE CARDINALS as my 9 Star Thursday Night CFB De' Ja Vu Play!
NOTES: Ran into some hard luck thinking we'd finish 6-1. However, Florida only lost for the 2nd time @ home under McElwain by a point & T.C.U.'s defense allowed a gadget play to keep West Virginia in the game as we fell by close to a FG with the spread for a 4-2 day & a 4-3 week.. Moving in the right direction, we'll strive for that undefeated week coming soon. The following is our official records since the VTD system does not take into accurate account buy points to determine pointspread outcomes.
2017-18 CFB Overall Seasonal Record: 13-15-----46%
