Arkansas State vs. Nevada (NCAAF) - 1:15 PM EST Premium Pick
Pick: Money Line: -120 Nevada Rating: 9* Mike's CFB Bowl Earlybird Dependable (WIN)
Look for Nevada to come into this feeling there's some unfinished business at hand. In their season finale, it appeared they were going to win 5 straight with a safe 23-0 lead against their Fremont Cannon rival, the U.N.L.V. Rebels. However, fate had it that it was the Rebels' day who came from behind 34-29. My bottom line says Jay Norvell gets his troops up for this game among teams with like talent. Let's go to the Tucson for the Arizona Bowl to play the NEVADA WOLFPACK as my CFB Bowl Earlybird Dependable!

Auburn vs. Purdue (NCAAF) - 1:30 PM EST Premium Pick
Pick: Money Line: 155 Purdue Rating: 8* Mike's 1st Barking Out Loud ML Dogger (LOSS)
The Boilermakers are a live dog with talent that has excellent motivation after HC Jeff Brohm turned down the Louisville job to stay on as skipper in West Lafayette. The SEC (yesterday with Vandy) seems to be a drop off from the top 2 in the conference. We'll gladly grab the ML as we pound the PURDUE BOILERMAKERS in Nashville @ the Music City Bowl!
Syracuse vs. West Virginia (NCAAF) - 5:15 PM EST Premium Pick
Pick: Money Line: -155 Syracuse Rating: 8* Mike's Ole' Big East'er Bowl Survivor (WIN)
These 2 have had some wild meetings when they were a part of the Big East. Since then, they've gone separate ways with Syracuse going the ACC route while West Virginia chose the Big 12. I'm a Dino Babers believer & feel his defense (like the Clemson game) will show up here (Mountaineers' QB Will Grier who passed for over 7,300 yards & 71 TD's the last 2 seasons is skipping this game to prep for the NFL draft). With HC Dana Holgorsen 0-5 ATS his past 5 bowling, let's take the team with the most motivation. Let's go to Orlando for the Camping World Bowl to play the SYRACUSE ORANGE as my Ole' Big East Bowl Survivor!

Vanderbilt vs. Baylor (NCAAF) - 9:00 PM EST Premium Pick
Pick: Money Line: -195 Vanderbilt Rating: 8* Mike's 2nd Smiling Cobra College Bowl Survivor (LOSS)
On the surface, it looks like these teams are hard to separate. But realistically, you can't determine they were against like competition with Vandy taking on SEC opponents as opposed to Baylor tangling with Big 12 foes. If HC Derek Mason plays his cards right he'll find an effective way to use bread n' butter RB Ke'Shawn Vaughn while revealing to senior QB Kyle Shurmur (son of New York Giants' HC Pat Shurmur) some open passing lanes against the Baylor 4-3 blitzing scheme. 2nd-year HC Matt Rhule has worked wonders turning the Bears into a 6-6 team from a disasterous 1-11 SU (beat Kansas) last season. My bottom line says Baylor should struggle without leading receiver Jalen Hurd on the field. Vandy should be motivated to post their 1st winning season in 5 years. Look for the Commodores to wear their opponent down in the 2nd half to get the "W". Let's go to Houston's NRG Stadium for the Academy Sports & Outdoors Texas Bowl to play the VANDERBILT COMMODORES as my 2nd Smiling Cobra College Bowl Survivor!
