Last weekend let's look at two games where the line went up and down like a roller coaster. Let's start in the Colleges with Arkansas and TCU. The line started TCU around 9 to 9.5 and went down to 7 to 7.5. I put out Arkansas at plus 7.5. I was upset with myself for not pulling the trigger at 8 or 8.5. Well Saturday afternoon with a couple of hours before kick off the line rose all the way to 10, before dropping back to 8.5. I am not really sure why the line move so much. Let's call it the 'Smart Money' may have been responsible. In this case if you had the Hogs plus the points you were the smart one!

Sunday night in the NFL in the New England and Arizona match up the line started anywhere from Arizona minus 2.5 to 3. Well when the word came out that All-World TE Rob Gronkowski was announce out for the the game (along with Tom ?????) the line jump to 9! This was the one game that NE was going to lose because QB what's his name was out, and Arizona was the team to beat in the National Conference. Someone forgot to tell the Patriots that!
