The punishment to Tom Brady may seem harsh, but he broke the rules and got caught. Tons of NFL superstars cheat and a lot get caught. Steriods and Peds, 1st offense 4 game suspension. Tom didn't take steroids, but he had the balls deflated and no one knows how long this may have been going on. Then he lied about about it.

The punishment; 4 game suspension for Tom Brady, team is fined 1 million dollars and a loss of their 1st round draft pick in 2016 and their 4th round pick in 2017. He will appeal the suspension.

Hopefully this sets the example and football can be about football. So in my opinion the answer is NO, the punishment was just right.
Plus they should put an asterisk by all his records.
