The third week of the NFL season has concluded and we’ve had some time to analyze the teams and start feeding our betting models with data, so we wanted to provide an update.
As most of you know, pay per head online bookies update the 2021 NFL Super Bowl futures odds weekly. In case you didn’t know, essentially, bookies will update the odds to win the Super Bowl after each week and bettors will have a chance to bet on the teams they think will win it all. Jumping on a hot team after three weeks is often a terrible decision, as you’re going to be getting a bad price on that team. However, betting NFL Super Bowl futures midseason can be beneficial if you’re targeting a team that has jumped out to a slow start, but has the talent to start winning. In some cases, even teams playing great to start the season see their futures odds worsen. With three weeks in the books for the 2020 NFL regular season, let’s analyze the teams that offer some value in the 2021 NFL Super Bowl futures betting markets at online sportsbooks. 2021 NFL Super Bowl Futures Odds and Predictions Are you looking for NFL 2020 season predictions? Here are two teams to consider betting on to win the 2021 NFL Super Bowl based on the value that their futures odds present at this time. Jump on these teams now, as these prices won’t be around long. 1. Tennessee Titans - 25/1 Odds to Win Super Bowl The Titan (3-0) are undefeated, but we’ve seen their 2021 NFL Super Bowl odds worsen. At the start of the NFL season, the Titans were 20/1 to win the Super Bowl, now they’re 25/1 to win. Part of the reason is because other teams with hot starts have steamed in. Derrick Henry has 319 rushing yards and 3 TDs to begin the season. Ryan Tannehill has looked good as well. He has completed 70/104 passes for 809 yards, 6 TDs and only 1 INT. If the Titans continue to get that type of production out of Tannehill, they could win the Super Bowl. Last season, the Titans made it all the way to the AFC Championship Game before losing to KC (35-24). The Chiefs are loaded again in 2020, but the Titans at 25/1 is a great value bet. 2. New Orleans Saints - 16/1 Odds to Win Super Bowl The Saints (1-2) have lost two consecutive games and have seen their Super Bowl odds drift. At the start of the NFL regular season, the Saints were only paying 10/1 to win the Super Bowl. This is an overreaction, which is the perfect time to bet on the Saints to win the Super Bowl. If you look at the Saints schedule, they play @DET, LAC, CAR and @CHI. Those are four games they can and should win, which would bring their record to 5-2 before playing the Bucs again. The week 2 loss to the Raiders (34-24) was bad, but in week 3 they simply ran into the hottest team in the NFL, the Packers (37-30) and they were unable to hang on in the second half. Michael Thomas is expected back this week, which will give Drew Brees his #1 target back.
