Money Management
The most important factor when it comes to sports investing is that you must manage your bankroll efficiently no matter the highs and lows of a winning or losing streak. If you treat your money management like shooting dice at the craps table your bankroll will dwindle rapidly. When it comes to money management I suggest you wager no more than 5% of your total bankroll on a single pick. After you have increased your starting bankroll by 50% then you would then adjust your per wager 5% amount up to reflect your new total bankroll based on earnings retained. For example if your starting bankroll is $10,000 then each unit would represent $100. Since the majority of my picks are 5 unit plays then your risk amount would be $500 per wager. You would keep your risk value at $100 per unit until your bankroll reaches $15,000 which at that point you would increase your per unit wager to $150 which is $750 per 5 unit pick.
