Let's first have a short discussion of what I consider to be a dynasty. Wins, titles, era and even intangibles all come into affect when deciding what a dynasty is.
There obviously is the hard earned fact that the dominant teams gives everyone else in the league the drive to take down the giant.
Or they bring the hate from fans that they stand above other teams for a set period of time pushing them to levels that other teams all strive for. And that frequently, they make the season almost an obvious determination. Which in itself can be extremely frustrating. But there is no way to disagree with the power that a dynasty brings to a sport.
These groups of amazing teams were more than just a team that made it to this level of hatred, admiration, or resentment. They also developed into something bigger and even more powerful. They became the all-powerful and ever evil dynasty.
Some may have only been around and lasted a handful of years, there were plenty others that owned the league for over a decade.
Bottom line is this, these are some paramount teams that wherever they went they brought with them a winning knowledge and fear to opponents.
Here we go.
1- UCLA Basketball
Dominant from; 1964-1975
Key players; Lew Alcindor, Bill Walton
Record; 335-22 (.938)
Championships won; 10
Conference Titles; 11
Intangibles; In all, they won 10 titles from 1964-1975. including 7 of those in a row. Hit the Final Four 11 times. They also carried a ridiculous 88 game win streak around on their shoulders.

prominently carried the nickname of "the Bronx Bombers" in acknowledgment to their home and their productive hitting.
Through 2013, the Yankees have an all-time regular season winning percentage of .568, which is the best of any team in baseball
3- San Francisco 49ers

Record; 159-57 (including 9 game schedule in 1982) (.736)

In 1992–93 the Bulls did what no team did since the Celtics of the 1960's, by getting the historied 3-peat.
5- Los Angeles Lakers

Key players; Magic Johnson, Kareem Abdul Jabbar, James Worthy
Record; 638-264 (.707)

Magic Johnson-led fast break-offense, which blew teams off the courts. They ran away with 5 championships in a 9 year span

Key players; Tom Heinsohn, Bill Russell, Bob Cousy, John Havlicek

Championships won; 11
Division Titles; 9
Intangibles; The Boston Celtics dominated the league, winning 11 championships in 13 years and 8 in a row from 1959–1966. In the biggest downside to me is the fact that they played in a league at the time with 8-10 teams.
8- Pittsburgh Steelers

Key players; Franco Harris, Lynn Swann, Terry Bradshaw, Mel Blount, Jack Lambert
Record; 67-20 (.770)
