South Carolina Gamecocks CFB Reg Season Over-Under Wins Las Vegas oddsmakers have made a huge mistake in this line. In case you didn’t know, the sportsbooks put out CFB Regular Season Over-Under Totals. They have set the total for South Carolina at 7 wins. You can either play Over or Under the 7 wins. First off, the Gamecocks are coached by one of the finest CFB coaches out there today in Steve Spurrier. This is a team that Spurrier took last year and created an 8-5 overall record including winning their final three games and their Bowl Game against Houston. Last year’s team was very inexperienced as they had only 10 starters back. Spurrier still guided this team to a very nice season. South Carolina played 9 bowl teams in last years schedule and only got beat once by double digits. All five of their losses last year were to teams ranked in the Top 12 in the nation. Four of those teams were by a combined 21 total points including a 17-16 loss to National Champion Florida where they should have won. This year things are a little different for the Gamecocks. They return 17 starters overall including 10 on defense. Let’s break down this years schedule for you. Gamecocks first play against Louisiana-Lafayette at home. La-Lafayette went 6-6 last year but only return 12 starters this year. Should be an easy win. Gamecocks then have to travel to Georgia. This one will be a little tougher but Spurrier and crew have the talent to knock them off. They then return home to play South Carolina State which should be another easy win. Then they go back on the road to play LSU which will be a tough game for them. They then return home to play Mississippi State and Kentucky which they should handle easily. Then they take to the road to play North Carolina who returns only 10 starters from last year’s poor 3-9 team. In their 8th game they return home to play Vanderbilt, which should be another easy winner for them. They then travel to Tennessee and Arkansas who return 12 and 10 starters respectively. This years Gamecocks could easily win those two as well. They then play Florida and arch rival Clemson at home to end the season. Florida only has 8 starters returning while Clemson only has 11 starters returning from last year. At the very, very least this team will push the Total of 7 wins. I feel like it will be a lot easier than that. Steve Spurrier said he feels like the Gamecocks will be competing for the SEC Championship this season and I have to agree with him. Spurrier and the Gamecocks will be very hungry and I see a Top 10 national finish for this squad. I have one member that will be moving $100,000 on this Total going from sportsbook to sportsbook in Vegas playing as much as he can at each along with some runners. I’m not saying go put your life savings on this one but I do highly recommend playing it to make you some extra money at the end of the season. Once again we are recommending OVER the 7 Regular Season wins for South Carolina this year. Thanks and best of luck with this year’s football season.
