Look at that calender people! It is November. Thanksgiving is right around the corner. I want you to personally stuff that bird full of cash money! No better time to BURY THE MAN than with early College Hoops.
There are just so many teams, you can't keep up. I do this 365/24/7 and it is a lot of work me for. Any pro should tell you it isn't an easy job. Now, what I like to do, is find the value of the off-the-radar schools.
Years ago, it was your Gonzaga and Butler programs. Now we see VCU and Wichita State going a little main stream.
These programs, will make us some nice coin. We will be on them often. Or at least until the cat is out of the bag. Others are teams I think will struggle.
Out of the American Athletic Conference. I will be looking to fade on South Florida. First year HC in Orlando Antigue. This is team is off b2b 12 win seasons. Bringing in a first time coach is a challenge. Could get ugly in Tampa.
Out of the Big East. Look to fade away on Creighton. They lose their best player every in Dougie McBuckets. They lose 4 guys who were the heart and soul of the program. Clearly a rebuild and we will look for good spots.
Love me some Big Sky and have already cashed on Sacramento State this season. Great guards, plenty of depth and 5 returning starters. $$ Look for some great early paydays.
Coastal Carolina in the Big South is another program I like. They have 4 starters back and played a pretty good defense last year. Chanticleers. I have no idea what that is, but that's CCs nickname. To me, it means under-value!
The CAA, Horizon and Missouri Valley. These are my bread and butter. A bunch of great teams to bet on. There will be value early with these multiple conferences.
Akron out of the MAC. Will be looking at them closely in the Charleston Classic (Nov. 20-23). Looks like some good value on them in December.
But don't sleep on my Toledo Rockets! Plenty of experience returning here.
UNLV. No returning starters for the Rebels. But this is UNLV. They get talent. We might have some value in late November and December. Always check here for the latest reports.
The Ohio Valley. Cashed the other day with Murray State as a Top 10. Here and the Sun Belt. I think I do an excellent job spotting the talented teams, and the line value. Georgia State out of the aforementioned Sun Belt is a team I will be watching closely.
C-USA. Nearly forgot about my UTEP group. Tim Floyd can coach, and he gets pretty decent players. With 9 of their top 10 scorers returning, this team should be watched.
The Summit League. People like the Jackrabbits here, but I am Denver Pioneer backer. They have the returning starters and experience under the belts. Last year was their first season in the Summit.
WCC. Yes, Gonzaga and St Mary's reside here. But for value, the Portland Pilots are my faves. They have size, can shoot, and experience. With four returning starters, I won't be shocked to see right behind the two bigger names here in conference play.
One final note. Teams that return all 5 starters. Nothing better than having some chemistry from jump street. Not every team is listed here. Just the ones from bigger conferences.
