SAN DIEGO CHARGERS AND NORV TURNER This move hasn’t made any sense to me since they made it. The San Diego Chargers was one of the best teams in the NFL last year with Head Coach Marty Schottenheimer leading the way. We all know that Schottenheimer had his troubles when getting to the postseason but this guy is a top notch NFL Coach. He helped make this program a winner and then they dump him. The Chargers still have many of their key players back from last year but simply stated, I don’t think this is going to be the same team under new Head Coach Norv Turner. Norv Turner coached in Oakland and Washington and really sucked. Being a huge Washington Redskins fan, I know all about his coaching abilities and he’s not hitting on much. The Redskins did the same thing to Marty Schottenheimer when he was their coach. Will these people ever learn? With Phillip Rivers and Ladanian Tomlinson being back as the key offensive players, this San Diego team should still make some noise but it won’t be because of their Head Coach. This move was a major blunder for the San Diego Chargers and maybe not this year but in years to come I feel like people will see that. It could have a huge impact this year though. Keep an eye out on this one. Rocketman is now 43-17 his last 60 NFL plays overall! Don’t miss any of our NFL or CFB selections this year!
