One of the most entertaining games on Saturday in college football should
come when No. 18 Arkansas hosts No. 14 Texas A&M in a game that should
become an annual matchup with the Aggies headed to the SEC next season. And they
opened as 3-point favorites on Bodog’s NCAA football odds. While the Hogs are considered the
home team, this game is being played at Cowboys Stadium outside Dallas. Both teams come in off a loss that likely crippled their chances at a
conference title. Texas A&M (2-1) had a very good Oklahoma State team on the
ropes with a 17-point halftime lead. But in the second half, OSU took advantage
of three Texas A&M turnovers and numerous penalties to reel off 27 straight
points to take a 30-20 lead. A Ryan Tannehill interception, his
third, sealed the Aggies’ loss. Tannehill did throw for 309 yards and two scores
and led A&M with 69 yards rushing. The Aggies are No. 25 in the nation in
scoring at 37.3 ppg. Arkansas (3-1) was simply outclassed last week at Alabama, falling 38-14. The
Razorbacks’ SEC-leading offense was held to just 226 yards, including only 17 on
the ground. Alabama had 10 tackles for loss, two interceptions, six pass
breakups and four quarterback hurries. The Razorbacks came in averaging 47
points and 517 yards a game but hadn’t played anyone. Arkansas is still No. 18
in the nation in scoring at 38.8 ppg. This is the third year in a row these two have played, with the Hogs winning
the first two. Last year it was 24-17, also at Cowboys Stadium (the teams agreed
to a 10-year series there, called the Southwest Classic). It was an ugly game
with 23 penalties and six turnovers, including four by Texas A&M. Tannehill
hadn’t yet taken over as the starting QB for the Aggies. Get the best NCAA football odds and props at the Web’s gaming leader
