Rocketman Sports TOP 25 CFB Power Ratings Week 14 Rocketman is back with his Weekly CFB Power Ratings update. Let’s see how my ratings compare with the BCS ratings this week. We still have much confusion whether or not the BCS ratings are the way to go for the National Championship. Some are still crying out having a playoff system. Here are my ratings for this week. 1. West Virginia 98.24 2. Missouri 96.53 3. Southern Cal 94.97 4. Oklahoma 93.55 5. Florida 93.05 6. Ohio State 92.25 7. Kansas 92.03 8. Virginia Tech 90.44 9. Clemson 89.67 10. South Florida 89.6 11. LSU 89.47 12. Georgia 87.41 13. Tennessee 86.78 14. Arkansas 86.49 15. Arizona State 85.42 16. Oregon 85.36 17. Cincinnati 85.2 18. Illinois 85.12 19. Penn State 84.95 20. Utah 84.91 21. Oregon State 84.59 22. Boise State 84.32 23. Virginia 84.08 24. Texas 84.01 25. Wisconsin 83.53 I’ve got Missouri and West Virginia flip flopped from what the BCS has. West Virginia should crush Pittsburgh this weekend but Missouri has to play Oklahoma and more surprisingly the so called #1 team in the nation (Missouri) is getting points in that game and I feel like Oklahoma will put it to them. Another key point that a lot of people are saying is why shouldn’t Hawaii be among the top teams in the nation with their perfect record this season. First off, Hawaii still has to play against Washington this weekend. Although they are installed as two touchdown favorites, players should be careful with this one. Hawaii’s strength of schedule is one of the worst in the nation. Also, Boise State lost to Washington earlier this season. I don’t have Hawaii ranked in my Top 25. I watched Hawaii and Colt Brennan is a very good quarterback. They could move up in my standings with a strong performance against Washington this weekend but I don’t think they deserve a Top Bowl spot and definitely not a shot at the National Championship. I have LSU ranked 11th and Tennessee ranked 13th in my standings and they meet this weekend. I look for LSU to put a hurting on this team so I lean to LSU to cover in that one. I already mentioned Missouri and Oklahoma. Although I have Missouri ranked #2 and Oklahoma ranked #4, Oklahoma has been there done that and will beat Missouri this weekend. I will have a bowl report for you so make sure to look for that. Rocketman is a perfect 6-0 100% past 2 weeks in College Football action.
