As good as the Baltimore Ravens have been since head coach John Harbaugh took
over, the team has yet to play a home playoff game under him. That all changes
on Sunday when the AFC North champs host Houston in the early game of the day.
Baltimore is a 9-point favorite on Bovada’s NFL playoffs lines with live
play-by-play betting available.

The total is only at 35.5 for
this one, by far the lowest of the weekend, as Houston had the NFL’s No. 2
overall defense in the regular season, while Baltimore was No. 3. The Ravens
were also No. 3 in scoring defense (16.6 ppg), while Houston was No. 4
(17.4).
The Texans beat Cincinnati last week 31-10 in the first playoff
game in franchise history. Running back Arian Foster was the
star, rushing for 153 yards and two scores. Defensive end J.J. Watt
gave Houston the lead for good when he returned the first of Bengals
rookie QB Andy Dalton's three interceptions 29 yards for a
score that broke a 10-all tie with 52 seconds left in the half. The Ravens were
on a bye last week.
Houston played in Baltimore in Week 6, with the
Ravens winning 29-14. Baltimore QB Joe Flacco threw for 305
yards and ran for a score, and Billy Cundiff kicked five field
goals. The Ravens held Houston scoreless over the final 21 minutes – Houston led
14-13 in the third quarter -- and limited Foster to 49 yards on 15 attempts.
Baltimore allowed only 58 yards and three first downs in the final 15 minutes
while outscoring Houston 13-0.
The Texans played that game without star
WR Andre Johnson (he’s back now and had five catches for 90
yards and a TD last week) and still had No. 1 QB Matt Schaub
back then. Of course now the Houston signal-caller is rookie
T.J. Yates, who didn’t see the field in the first meeting. The
Texans 0-5 against Baltimore since entering the NFL in 2002 (1-4 ATS). The
Ravens were 8-0 at home this season (4-3-1 ATS). The last time Baltimore hosted
a playoff game was in 2007, a 15-6 loss to the Colts.
