What the heck is going on down at Auburn ? Yesterday they fired offensive coordinator Tony Franklin who they had brought over from Troy to install the spread offense and replace Tuberville's smash mouth conservative style. Last week vs Vanderbilt, Auburn got out to a 13-0 lead playing smash mouth run the ball offense in the first quarter. Then for some mysterious reason they totally got away from running the ball the rest of the game and lost 13-14. Tuberville says that he will continue to run the spread offense, which I can't understand. Auburn just doesn't have the personnel to run the spread. The players on Auburn's offense were recruited to play in a smash mouth run the ball system and forcing them to play the spread is like trying to force a square peg in a round hole. It's a shame because Auburn's defense looks and plays like a top 10 team.

Pac Man- Is in trouble again after beating up his private security issued by the Cowboys. It will be interesting to see how NFL commish Goodall handles the discipline.

Plaxico Burress- is receiving a ton of media attention for his return from his suspension and bad attitude. As Sports Bettors we need to differentiate from what part is the media trying to create a story and what part is fact. The facts are that Burress is an irressponsible jerk, but he is also QB Eli's favorite target, and on gameday Plax plays hurt and makes plays.

Titans- Have a bye this week, but when they return, look for teams to play them like Baltimore defense did Sunday. Shutting down the run and making QB Collins and WR's beat them.

Seahawks- Another West Coast team playing the early game on the East Coast and never woke up.

Giants-Coach Tom Coughlin showed he's not adverse to running up the score.

Dolphins-Pushed the Chargers around on both sides of the ball !

Chargers- I don't know if it's because of an injury, offensive line injuries, or offensive schemes, but LaDanian Tomlinson isn't playing like he did in the past.

Colts- Defense just isn't the same without Safety Bob Sanders.

Bills- QB Trent Edwards got knocked out in the first quarter of AZ game and QB JP Loseman showed why he no longer starts.

Packers- I know QB Rogers is banged up, but he has thrown some really bad interceptions last couple of weeks.
