After getting mostly shut down in their opener against the LSU Tigers, the No. 10 Oregon Ducks have gotten back to normal offensively and appear to be their explosive selves. Oregon starts Pac-12 Conference play on Saturday night at a wounded Arizona team that faces a near must-win. The Ducks opened as 15.5-point favorites on Bodog’s NCAA football odds.

After being held to 27 points by LSU, the Ducks have put up 69 and 56 in blowouts of overmatched Nevada and Missouri State. LaMichael James rushed for 204 yards on 12 carries, scoring three touchdowns last week against the Bears. James' 90-yard dash was Oregon's longest run since 1938. He added a 1-yard TD run in the first quarter and a 50-yarder in the third. It was James’ fourth career game of at least 200 yards rushing, which leads the NCAA in the past five years. James has 42 career touchdowns, matching the school record set by Derek Loville (1986-89).

Arizona coach Mike Stoops is definitely on the hot seat in Tucson with his Wildcats at 1-2. After rolling over Northern Arizona in its opener, UA hasn’t looked good in losing by more than three touchdowns to both Oklahoma State and Stanford. Of course, those are both Top-10 teams. QB Nick Foles continues to put up big numbers, having  thrown for 1,049 yards and seven scores, but the Wildcats’ running attack is 116th of 120 teams. UA has lost to seven consecutive FBS opponents dating back to last season.

Oregon has won three in a row in this series and 12 straight conference games. James has played in the last two meetings with Arizona, totaling 243 rushing yards with two scores. Foles has thrown for 762 yards, seven touchdowns and two interceptions in two matchups with the Ducks. Last year Oregon won 48-29 at home. Arizona actually led 19-14 at the half. The Ducks and Wildcats combined for 55 first downs and 1,043 total yards.
