Home-ice advantage is supposed to be a big deal in NHL betting circles, but it hasn’t worked out that way in the second round of this year’s NHL playoffs.

The Boston Bruins head home with a 2-0 lead over the Philadelphia Flyers. Philly has been stymied by goalie Tim Thomas, who made 52 saves in Monday’s 3-2 overtime victory. If any team can afford to not sweat too much being down 2-0, it’s Philadelphia. The Flyers trailed Boston 3-0 in last year’s playoffs before coming back to win the series—including overcoming a 3-0 deficit in Game 7.

But that doesn’t mean fans in the City of Brotherly Love shouldn’t be at least a little worried. Philadelphia’s Achilles’ heel has been its goaltending, but even with a superb effort in Game 2—Brian Boucher and Sergei Bobrovsky combined to stop 38 of the 41 shots they faced—Philly couldn’t secure a victory. The Flyers need at least one win in Boston this week, and back-to-back wins if they’re going to regain home-ice advantage.

The Washington Capitals are in a similar boat to Philadelphia after blowing their first two games at home to the Tampa Bay Lightning. It’s an incredibly shocking result considering Washington is one of the best teams in the NHL at home, going 28-8-8 at the Verizon Center (including playoffs). Wednesday’s Game 4 is crucial after the Caps lost again in Game 3 on Tuesday, which puts the series at 3-0 for Tampa Bay.

At least one series has stuck to the script on the NHL odds. The Detroit Red Wings and San Jose Sharks play Game 3 of their series on Wednesday, and the Sharks are up 2-0 after winning back-to-back games at the Shark Tank. Now, the series shifts to Detroit and Joe Louis Arena, where the Wings went 23-14-6 this season (including playoffs).
