The Dolphins put an end to their seven-game losing streak to start the season by beating the Chiefs 31-3 in Kansas City over the weekend – that has Miami now at 1-7 overall and 2-6 against the spread heading into Week 10.

And that also has the Dolphins one win ahead of the winless Indianapolis Colts in the turtle race for the first overall pick in next year's NFL Draft – where some team is going to acquire Stanford Cardinal stud quarterback Andrew Luck.

So it might be good for the Dolphins' egos to continue to win, but it's probably not best for the long-term health of the franchise.

Matt Moore had a solid day at quarterback for Miami against the Chiefs, going 17 of 23 for 244 yards passing with three touchdowns and no interceptions. Reggie Bush rushed for 92 yards and a score in that game, and Anthony Fasano had two TD receptions.

The Redskins wouldn't turn up a chance to draft Luck either, but at 3-5 straight up (and 3-5 against the spread) already this season they're not quite bad enough right now to get that chance.

Still, that hasn't been for lack of trying, with Washington riding a four-game skid into Sunday's meeting with the Dolphins. The Redskins are coming off a 19-11 loss at home against the San Francisco 49ers in which QB John Beck threw for 254 yards with one TD and one INT, and Roy Helu led the team with 41 rushing yards.

Washington beat Miami 16-13 at home as a 3-point favorite when the teams last met back in 2007, and the Dolphins are just 2-3 straight up and 1-3-1 against the NFL betting odds in their past five games against the Redskins.
