With both teams coming off rare victories, the St. Louis Rams will play host
to the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday afternoon in an NFL betting
matchup at the Bodog Sportsbook.
The Rams and Seahawks have combined for just five wins so far this season,
but St. Louis is coming off a 13-12 road win over the Cleveland Browns and
Seattle impressed in a 22-17 home win over the Baltimore Ravens last time
out.
The Seahawks jumped to 3-6 straight up and 5-3-1 against the spread on the
season with that upset victory over the Ravens, with Marshawn
Lynch rushing for 109 yards and a score on 32 carries.
Seattle QB Tarvaris Jackson went 17 of 27 for 217 yards
passing in that game, with no touchdowns and no interceptions, while
Steven Hauschka booted five field goals to account for the bulk
of the Seahawks' scoring. The Rams got a Josh Brown field goal in the fourth quarter
on Sunday to give them a 13-12 road win over the Browns and put them at 2-7 both
straight up and against the spread on the season.
Steven Jackson ran for 128 yards on 27 carries for St. Louis
in that game, while Sam Bradford threw for 155 yards and one
score. Brandon Lloyd had the TD reception.
The Seahawks have dominated the Rams over the past five years, going 9-1
straight up and 7-3 against the spread in their past 10 meetings. The OVER/UNDER
was 4-5 with one PUSH in those contests.
