Are you ready for some football!? Well, hopefully there will be an NFL season if the owners and NFLPA
can agree on a labor settlement, but regardless the league will release the 2011
regular-season schedule on Tuesday night at 7 p.m. Eastern. We already know one game for sure. The Chicago Bears will face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Oct. 23 at London’s Wembley Stadium. The Bucs will return to London for the second time in three years, having lost to the New England Patriots at Wembley in 2009. For the Bears, the game will mark the 25th anniversary of having played a preseason game against the Dallas Cowboys at the stadium. This would count as a Bucs home game. The Bears last played outside North America when they met the Pittsburgh Steelers
in a preseason game in Dublin, Ireland, in 1997. They played the Bills in Canada last year. This marks the fifth straight season the NFL has played a regular season game at Wembley Stadium. However, don’t buy your tickets yet. If the NFL’s labor situation isn't
resolved by Aug. 1, the game will be played at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa.
If that happens, the Bears’ date vs. the St. Louis Rams in the Pro Football Hall
of Fame Game on Aug. 7 at Canton, Ohio, will be canceled. That is the opening
game of the preseason. The Bears or New Orleans Saints are the most likely teams to open the regular
season Thursday, Sept. 8 at Lambeau Field against the defending Super Bowl
champion Green Bay Packers. Bet on Super Bowl futures now at Bodog!
