Is Andrew Luck going to be the starting quarterback for the
Miami Dolphins next season? It's entirely possible, with the Dolphins hauling a
winless record into their Week 8 contest against the New York Giants on Sunday
afternoon. After seven weeks the Dolphins are 0-6 both straight up and against the NFL odds at
the Bodog Sportsbook, leaving them as one of three teams without a win on their
resume this season (Indianapolis and St. Louis are the other two).
And Miami found a way to lose at home against the Denver Broncos last week,
allowing Tim Tebow to engineer a pair of scoring drives against
them late in the fourth quarter and eventually falling 18-15 in overtime.
Miami quarterback Matt Moore went 22 of 33 for 197 yards
passing for his team in that loss, with one touchdown strike and no
interceptions. In three games this season Moore has a QB Rating of 67.0 with one
touchdown and three interceptions.
Daniel Thomas rushed for 53 yards on 19 carries in the loss
for Miami, and Anthony Fasano had the touchdown reception.
The Giants come off their bye week at 4-2 straight up and 3-2-1 against the
NFL odds, and
they were last in action in Week 6 in a 27-24 home win over the Buffalo
Bills.
Eli Manning went 21 of 32 for 292 yards with no TDs and no
INTs for the Giants in that win, with Ahmad Bradshaw rushing
for 104 yards and three scores to drive the offense.
The Giants are favored by 10 points at the Bodog Sportsbook for this matchup
on Sunday, and they last faced the Dolphins back in October 2007 when they won
13-10 as a 10-point road favorite. New York is 4-1 SU and 3-2 ATS in its last
five vs. Miami.
The Giants sit at 30/1 odds to win
the Super Bowl in February. Get all your NFL odds at
