NCAA Tourney Predictions: Midwest Region Winner: Notre Dame----I like Notre Dame to prevail and go to the Final Four. I have them beating Kentucky in the Elite 8. The Irish are the #1 team in the tournament in terms of offensive efficiency. They have the guards that can play with Kentucky and can shoot lights out from the 3 point line. They beat Duke twice this season and also beat North Carolina twice and the Tarheels have size and play similar to Kentucky. The 'whole world' is on Kentucky this tournament. I am a contrarian and will look for the 'Luck-of-the-Irish' to prevail. Take: Notre Dame to the Final Four.

West Region: Arizona----I like Arizona to prevail in the West region to the Final Four. I have them playing Wisconsin as most others do as well in what should be a great game. I think that the Arizona defense can really cause this Badger team problems and Arizona will be hungry for revenge after last year's 64-63 loss in the overtime in the Elite 8. Arizona did not have Brandon Ashley in that game and he can be the difference in this one. Look for Arizona to get their revenge in what could have a "National Championship' type of atmosphere. Take: Arizona to the Final Four

East Region: Virginia-----I like Virginia to prevail in the East region to the Final Four. Justin Anderson is back healthy and he will just get stronger as the tournament goes on. Anderson is a future NBA player with a smooth shooting stroke from the outside. While he was injured, the Cavs toughed it out and made themselves a stronger team with use of their bench. Now, this team is ready to make a run for the Championship. I have Villanova getting knocked out of the tournament early so tread carefully when filling out your bracket as I don't think Villanova will make it past the 2nd round as NC State or LSU will beat them. Take: Virginia to the Final Four:

South Region Winner: I like Utah to prevail to the Final Four, then beat Virginia, and make it to the National Championship to play Arizona in the Championship game. Utah is a team that is very efficient on offense as well as on defense. This is a team that is strong at all positions. They have size, length, depth, and guys that can knock down big shots. The Utes did falter a bit down the stretch by losing to a red hot Oregon team twice and lost a heartbreaker to Arizona. I think those losses were good for the team though and will have them better prepared for the tournament. Utah is a more disciplined team than Duke and matches up well with them. I then see them playing Gonzaga which will be a great game, but I think the experience and mental toughness of Utah pays off as they win a close game on their way to Indianapolis, IN to the Final Four. Take: Utah to the Final Four

Sleeper Pick: Well, if Utah as a #5 seed is not a good enough sleeper pick for you, I think Texas as a #11 seed could possibly make some noise. Granted, they seem to lose all close games, but the defensive intensity is there and so is the talent. Also, look for the winner of the LSU/NC State game to knock off Villanova and win another game and advance to the Elite 8.

National Champion for 2015: Utah Utes----Yes, I am taking the #5 seed Utah Utes to beat Arizona in a triple revenge game and come away with the win. This is a team that shoots almost 50% from the floor and holds teams to 38% shooting from the floor. They are strong at all positions. Taylor and Loveridge can hit 3's when they need it. Wright is a premier point guard and at 6'5", he sees the court great.The Freshman 7 footer Poeltl has been a beast this season. Other than Poeltl, their other 4 starters all shoot 80+% from the foul line. I really think that the late season losses to Oregon and Arizona will only strengthen this team for the tournament. At 50:1 odds, I have already made a wager on Utah and suggest you do the same. Take: Utah Utes to win the National Championship
