Coming off a complete drubbing of their opponent in Week 3, the Georgia Tech
Yellow Jackets will be looking to do the same at home against the North Carolina
Tar Heels when those schools meet on Saturday. Georgia Tech was pegged as a 15-point favorite on the college
football betting lines at the Bodog Sportsbook for their Week 3 game at home
against Kansas, and they threw up four touchdowns in the third quarter en route
to a 66-24 win for their supporters.
And the amazing part of that victory for the Yellow Jackets was that their
quarterback only completed four passes in a game in which they put up 66 points.
Tevin Washington went 4-of-7 for 164 yards with two TD strikes
and no INTs in that win.
Most of the Georgia Tech damage, then, was done on the ground, with
Orwin Smith rushing for 157 yards and a score, and
Embry Peeples collecting 110 yards and a TD. David
Sims, Synjyn Days, and Charles
Perkins also found the end zone in the win as the Yellow Jackets
improved to 3-0 on the season.
The Tar Heels are also coming off a victory, although they put up a mere 28
points in their 28-17 home victory over Virginia on the weekend. North Carolina
just managed to cover the 10-point spread on the college
football lines at the Bodog Sportsbook.
North Carolina got a bit of a passing attack going in that win, with
Bryn Renner throwing for 147 yards and two touchdowns on the
day. Ryan Houston rushed for two Tar Heels scores in the win,
while Dwight Jones and Jheranie Boyd had TD
catches.
The Tar Heels also sit at 3-0 after their Week 3 win, which means something
will have to give on Saturday. Get all your college
football odds at Bodog.
