The New Mexico State Aggies will be looking for some revenge for a 2010
drubbing late on Saturday night when the take on the Warriors in Hawaii in a college
football betting matchup. When those schools met last season New Mexico State found itself on the
receiving end of a 59-24 pounding as a 27.5-point home underdog on the college
football odds board at the Bodog Sportsbook. Overall, New Mexico State is
0-6 vs. Hawaii over the last six seasons, going 2-4 against the spread in those
half-dozen contests.
This year New Mexico State sits at 3-3 straight-up and 4-2 against the spread
through six games, and they're coming off back-to-back wins over New Mexico
(42-28) and Idaho (31-24).
Against the Vandals last time out Aggies QB Matt Christian
went 8-of-14 for 102 yards with a touchdown pass, while Travaughn
Colwell completed seven of his nine passing attempts for 100 yards and
a score. Starting quarterback Andrew Manley is out for the
season with a torn ACL.
Kenny Turner rushed for 171 yards and a score on 29 carries
for New Mexico State.
The Warriors are coming off a 28-27 loss at San Jose State, with the Spartans
scoring a touchdown with just under a minute left in that game to secure the
victory.
Hawaii QB Bryant Moniz went 27-of-46 for 303 yards passing
against San Jose State, with two touchdown strikes and three interceptions.
Joey Iosefa ran for 81 yards and two scores on seven carries in
the loss.
Moniz threw for 315 yards and four touchdowns (with one interception) in
Hawaii's win over New Mexico State on the road last season, while Turner was
held to just 52 yards on the ground on 10 carries for the Aggies. Get all your college
