Kenny Turner rushed for 171 yards and a score on 29 carries for New Mexico State.

The Warriors are coming off a 28-27 loss at San Jose State, with the Spartans scoring a touchdown with just under a minute left in that game to secure the victory.

Hawaii QB Bryant Moniz went 27-of-46 for 303 yards passing against San Jose State, with two touchdown strikes and three interceptions. Joey Iosefa ran for 81 yards and two scores on seven carries in the loss.

Moniz threw for 315 yards and four touchdowns (with one interception) in Hawaii's win over New Mexico State on the road last season, while Turner was held to just 52 yards on the ground on 10 carries for the Aggies.
