The Georgia Bulldogs hit the road in search of their fourth straight victory in Week 6 college football betting action, as they prepare to take on their SEC rivals, the Tennessee Volunteers, at Neyland Stadium this Saturday night.

After opening the season with consecutive losses to nationally-ranked Boise State and South Carolina, the Bulldogs (3-2 SU, 3-2 ATS) have put themselves back into the conversation in the SEC East with wins over Coastal Carolina, Ole Miss, and Mississippi State in the past three weeks.

Sophomore QB Aaron Murray has completed 83-of-135 passing attempts for 1,100 yards with 13 touchdowns and six interceptions so far this season, but the Bulldogs’ offense has been curiously ineffective in the second half of their past two victories while their defense has stepped up.

Meanwhile the Volunteers (3-1 SU, 2-0-2 ATS) have averaged better than 335 passing yards per game, and scored more than 40 points in each of their wins over Montana, Cincinnati, and Buffalo. The only blemish on their slate to date was a tough 33-23 loss at Florida back in Week 3.

Tyler Bray has thrown at least three touchdown passes in each game this season, as the sophomore pivot for Tennessee has completed 98-of-143 passing attempts for 1,328 yards and 14 touchdowns with just two interceptions. Freshman RB Isaiah Crowell has rushed for more than 100 yards in three games while racking up 515 yards in total on 99 carries with two touchdowns.

The teams have split their past four matchups with the home team winning each game dating back to 2007, including last year when Georgia rolled over the visiting Volunteers 41-14 and easily covered as 11.5-point favorites at home. Tennessee was 4-0 ATS against the Bulldogs in the previous four matchups prior to last year’s result.
