With the NFL season now over, with the exception of this weekends Pro Bowl, it is time to focus our attention to Basketball. The NBA is in full swing and with some surprises this season looks to be full of some great betting opportunities. The NBA season is long and as a result teams enter into both hot and cold streak througout the year. In addition, fatigue plays a factor as well since teams are rquired to play in back to back games a number of times during the season. Therefore, like no other sport, trends and angles are an important part of the handicapping arsenal. It is there where I focused my attention with tonight's action. Portland at Indiana
Portland is 0-8 their L8 versus Indiana while the Pacers are 9-3 at home w/ 2 days of rest against a non-conf opponent Memphis at New Orleans Memphis is 9-0 O/U their L9 versus New Orleans ,9-3 O/U off of a divisional road game, and 8-2 O/U as a divisional road dog of 11 < points. The Hornets 7-0 O/U as a divisional home favorite, 4-1 O/U versus and opponent who has onw less than .333 of their games ane 7-1 O/U in their L8 home games. Recommendation: Take the Over Atlanta at Houston Atlanta is 1-10 ATS on the road with no rest off a home game. The home team in this series is 4-0 ATS. New York at Milwaukee Milwaukee is 1-6 ATS on Saturdays Chicago at Utah Chicago is 1-6 ATS on the road versus the Northwest divivision while Utah is 4-1 ATS at home with no rest off a road game Sacramento at Golden State Sacramento is 8-2 ATS on Saturday on the road while the Warriors are 3-10 ATS on Saturdays.
