Kevin Durant did his part in Game 1 for OKC with 33 points
and 11 rebounds. However, despite putting up 29 points Russell
Westbrook struggled, hitting just 9-for-23 shots (only 4-for-14 from
close range) with seven turnovers. In reality Game 1 was won inside as Memphis’ Zach Randolph
had a playoff career-high 34 points and 10 rebounds and Marc
Gasol added 20 points and 13 boards against overmatched OKC big men
Kendrick Perkins, Serge Ibaka and Co. Randolph and Gasol each
scored 20 points in the same regular-season game only once this season, but they
dominated the Spurs and have started the same way here. The two big men scored
18 points, committed no turnovers, and shot almost 80 percent on post-up plays
in Game 1. During the regular season, Randolph averaged 26.5 points, 13.0
rebounds and 1.5 steals against the Thunder as Memphis won the series 3-1 (his
most points averaged against all but one team). But adding Perkins, who didn’t
play in any of those four games, was supposed to be a remedy for that. Memphis
is now plus-48 in points in the paint in these playoffs. Can the Grizz pull the upset again? Bet on this game at Bodog

NBA Playoff Odds: Thunder Can't Afford Another Home Loss to Grizzlies
The opening games of the NBA’s
conference semifinal round have been anything but chalk as three of the four
favorites lost on their home courts in Game 1. That includes the Oklahoma City
Thunder, who were one of the most impressive teams in Round 1 but have run into
the buzz saw that is a surging Memphis team. The Thunder obviously don’t want to
go to Memphis down 2-0 so tonight is almost a must-win and Oklahoma City is a
6.5-point favorite on Bodog’s NBA odds.
