Wade is likely to sit with a bruised right thigh. Officially his status is doubtful but Wade, the third-leading scorer in the NBA, didn’t participate in Miami's shootaround practice Wednesday morning. Wade was injured in the first half of Miami's win Sunday against the New Jersey Nets. He played in the second half of that game, but needed treatment because of deep soreness Monday and Tuesday. A final decision will be made at game time.

"It's really a pain tolerance," coach Erik Spoelstra said. "He's not able to move his leg the way he would like to."

The Heat play the Celtics on Sunday, which could determine which team grabs the higher seed. Miami must finish with a better record because the Celtics have already won the regular-season series between the teams.

Milwaukee, meanwhile, is still hoping to reach the playoffs but it’s all about over. With five games remaining, the Bucks are 3.5 games behind Indiana for the final spot in the East. The Bucks also had to play on Tuesday night and didn’t look good, scoring just 72 points in a six-point loss in Orlando. Milwaukee could be officially eliminated if it loses this one. The Heat won the first three games this season in this serious by margins of 10, 12 and six, with the last one coming in overtime.
