Dallas has won the first two games on this season-long six-game road trip and four in a row overall. They just won on back-to-back nights in Utah and Phoenix over the weekend. Sunday against the Suns, the Mavs were down practically the whole game but outscored the Suns by 10 in the fourth to win 91-83. Dirk Nowitzki struggled on 6-for-16 from the field but made two free throws to extend his consecutive makes from the line to 74, the longest streak in the NBA this season. Tyson Chandler tied a season-high with 18 rebounds. He's recorded double-digit rebounds in three of the last four games and has 52 boards in those four games. Dallas improved to 26-10 on the road, best in the NBA.

The Clippers have been off since beating visiting Toronto 94-90 on Saturday. Rookie star Blake Griffin had 22 points and 16 rebounds for L.A. It was his 56th double-double, a Clippers record. However, L.A. has had major trouble beating Dallas. The Mavs have won eight straight in this series overall and four straight over the Clippers in Los Angeles by an average of 17.5 points, taking the most recent road meeting with them 99-83 on Oct. 31. Dallas won a home game vs. L.A. this year by seven.
