The Toledo Rockets are favored by just three points to ground the Air Force
Falcons in college football betting action on Wednesday evening (4:30 pm
Eastern, ESPN) in the Military Bowl at Robert F. Kennedy Memorial Stadium in
Washington, D.C.

The
Rockets (8-4 SU, 7-5 ATS) won seven of their final eight games after losing
three of their first four matchups to finish in second place in the West
Division of the Mid-American Conference. The Toledo offense was a scoring
machine at 42.3 points per game - including four games with at least 54 points –
as the Rockets ranked eighth overall in the FBS.
The running game ranked
14th overall at 221.2 yards per game while the passing attack was also dangerous
at 272 yards per game to finish 29th in the nation. However, the defense ranked
only 89th overall while allowing almost 31 points per game as Toledo went 7-5
O/U against the number.
The Falcons (7-5 SU, 5-7 ATS) won four of their
final five matchups to finish in fifth place in the Mountain West Conference,
and as usual boasted a premier rushing attack as Air Force ranked second overall
in the nation with a whopping 320.3 yards per game along the
ground.
While they only managed to rank 113th overall in passing with
138.5 yards per game, the Falcons still managed to convert their offense into
points at a clip of 34.4 per game to rank a solid 21st in the nation. The
defense allowed 27.3 points per game to rank 65th which contributed to their 9-3
O/U record against the number.
The OVER is 4-1 in Toledo’s past five
games, and 5-1 in the Falcons’ past six games against teams with a winning
record.
