I feel that momentum continues here in Game 4 as well as turn-around in Bradley Beal's shooting capabilities from 3-point range. Look for his mini-slump to end in D.C. as the Wizards even it up after Game 4. My bottom line points to Boston's PG Isaiah Thomas dealing with multiple issues including health that should cause a drop in numbers. I'm not expecting double technicals & ejections again but there will be some emotion & physicality that should favor Washington. This team surely wakes up the echoes of the days when the Washington bullets were king. Fans are hungry & their team won't deny tonight. Saturday, May 06, 2017 Pittsburgh Penguins vs. Washington Capitals (NHL) - 7:15 PM EDT Premium Pick Pick: Point Spread: 1.5/-202 Pittsburgh Penguins Pick Title: Kentucky Derby Smart Exotics With Bonus Play (LOSS) It sure looks like the Murray injury has paid BIG dividends for the World Champion Penguins. The insertion of Fleury has more than resurrected the defense & has kept their opponents playing from behind for the majority. Yes, the Capitals are on the brink of elimination & are the more-desperate team. However, Washington will find it hard to separate from Pittsburgh the way Fleury has performed. Note that 3 of the 1st 4 games of this series have been decided by 1 goal. I don't see that changing here. Let's go to the Verizon center to capitalize on value taking the PITTSBURGH PENGUINS as my NHL Saturday BONUS Play! Mike's been gearing up throughout the whole week gauging the 3-year-olds set for Churchill Downs' Race 12 @ 6:34 PM post time in Lexington. I feel to much emphasis has been placed on MCCRACKEN's 3rd place finish in the Tampa Bay Derby. After a small injury, he was held out of some practices & thus was very rusty out of the gate. Since that time, trainer Ian Wilkes has MCCRACKEN back to form & is looking strong once again. I also feel jockey Brian Hernandez is the perfect fit for this horse whose previously won all 3 races he's raced on this track. Remember, this is the same gate (15th) that Triple Crown champion American Pharoah cashed just 2 years ago. The 15th spot has won the Derby 5 times in 55 tries. Look for Hernandez to make a big move down the stretch to lead backers back to the window. My 2nd horse that looks very strong is IRISH WAR CRY. He's practiced well during sprints this week & has won both the Wood Memorial & Holy Bull the past few months. Trainer Graham Motion will have Rajiv Maragh riding the colt that is the son of 2-time Horse of the Year Curlin who finished in the money back in the 2007 Derby. His 17th posy is due coming in @ 0-for-38. My 3rd selection I feel also has a legitimate shot is also trainer Steve Rasmussen's most talented of 3 entries--HENCE. This horse should be able to bag a Top 4 prize here as jockey Florent Geroux manages his speed properly. If Geroux steadies him outside until the proper time to close, he should finish in the money spots with his speed. HENCE had 2 strong showings winning the Sunland Derby March 26th & a maiden race @ Oaklawn back on January 16th. His 8th post draw has been the 2nd most successful in winning the Derby 8 times in 86 posts. My 4th selection will be ALWAYS DREAMING who should go neck and neck with the favorite CLASSIC EMPIRE. Trainer Todd Pletcher is getting better and has jockey John Velasquez aboard who grabbed the roses in past derbies. ALWAYS DREAMING has won all 3 of jis 2017 starts & is positioned in the #9 hole which is tied for the most successful (also 10th spot) of all Derby positions winning 9 times in 87 starts. I feel these are the only 5 that have a chance @ winning the Kentucky Derby. Now let's move on to our straight & exotic plays to cash in on another triple crown race.
