Lefthander Lester (10-4, 3.43 ERA) took the mound in Toronto on June 12, holding the Blue Jays to one run on two hits over eight innings of work while striking out eight batters in a victory.

Lester has actually faced the Blue Jays three times already this season. He also beat them at home back on April 17 (one run on six hits over six innings of work), but Toronto got the best of him on May 10 at Rogers Centre (five runs on seven hits over 5 1-3 innings of work).

Overall Boston is 6-4 over Lester's last 10 starts, and he's coming off a win over the Phillies in which he allowed just two hits over seven shutout innings.

Facing Lester on Tuesday for the Blue Jays will be Brett Cecil (1-3, 7.24 ERA). Lefthander Cecil has only started five games for Toronto so far this season, and the team lost four of those contests.

However, the lone victory came on April 15 at Fenway Park, when Cecil held the Red Sox to three runs on two hits (and four walks) over six innings of work.

Trailing the Yankees, Red Sox, and Rays in their division, the Blue Jays are well back at 100/1 odds to win the World Series at Bodog right now despite slugger Jose Bautista's heroics at the plate. Toronto is also at 50/1 odds to win the AL Pennant.
