Taylor Hall scored a goal on four shots and was plus-2 in Sunday's 5-2 win over the Red Wings. It was his first goal since joining the Coyotes, who acquired him on December 16 for prospects Nick Merkley, Nate Schnarr, Kevin Bahl, a 2020 first-round pick and a conditional third-round pick in 2021. The 2018 Hart Trophy winner was able to score just under six minutes into the third period. He's now reached the scoresheet in his first three games with the Coyotes, having picked up an assist in each of his first two appearances. Hall has had his offensive struggles since his MVP season but changing scenery seems to be what he needed and he has unlocked the form that allowed him to have 39 goals and 93 points in the 2017-18 season. Arizona has scored 13 goals in the three games since they acquired Hall and whoever signs him next season, whether it will be the Coyote or anyone else, will be a great candidate to reach the Stanley Cup playoff and go far.
