The Oklahoma Sooners are listed as huge 14-point favorites against the Iowa

The Sooners (9-3 SU, 6-6 ATS) lost two of their final
three games to wind up ranked No. 14 in the nation after opening their season
with six consecutive victories. Those losses came at the hands of Baylor
(then-ranked No. 22) and third-ranked Oklahoma State, as the Sooners gave up a
combined 89 points in those two defeats.

Jones directed the nation’s fourth-ranked passing attack (365.1 yards
per game) and the rushing game was rated 49th overall (167 yards per game) as
the Sooners scored at a tenth-best rate of 40.3 points per game. However, the
defense allowed points at a 36th-ranked clip of 22.8 points per game as Oklahoma
finished at just 6-3 SU in Big 12 play.
The Hawkeyes (7-5 SU, 5-7 ATS)
also struggled down the stretch, losing three of their final five games to wind
up at 4-4 SU in Big Ten conference results. Iowa managed to knock off Michigan
(then-ranked No. 15) and Purdue during that stretch, but also suffered losses to
Minnesota, Michigan State (then-ranked No. 17), and Nebraska (then-ranked No.
21).
Overall, the Iowa offense ranked 53rd overall in scoring (28.7
points per game), with the 57th-ranked passing attack (236.3 yards per game) and
76th-ranked rushing attack (142.8 yards per game) The Hawkeyes’ defense checked
in at 42nd in preventing points (23.3 points per game).
The UNDER is 7-2
in Iowa’s past nine games against Big 12 opponents, and 10-2 in Oklahoma’s past
12 December games.
