It's been an unpredicable season in College Football and it appears to be comtinueing into the Bowl Games as past trends seem to have fallen by the wayside. Even with the inconsistencies historical trends still need to be factored into your handicapping of games as the old saying "history tends to repeat itself" certainly has some merit. Last nights winner with Texas certainly put the profits into the favorite's corner but what about today's Bowl games? Will that trend continue? Well let's take look at today's three Bowl games and see what history tells us. Champs Sport Bowl Game This Bowl Game pits Michigan State of the Big-10 facing off against the ACC representative Boston College. -- Total players might want to take a look at the Over in this one as it is 9-2 the L11 games (be careful though as the last two have gone under the total). For side players the ACC team is 4-0 SU & 3-1 ATS in the L4 games. Texas Bowl TCU takes on Houston in this contest. -- This will be the first time that the Big 12 will not have a representative in this Bowl Game while C-USA
is making its first appearance since 2002. Side players need to look at the Favorite in this one as they are 5-1 SU & 4-1-1 ATS in the L6. Emerald Bowl This one pitts the ACC versus the PAC-10 with Maryland take on Oregon State. -- For side players the Dogs have barked going 3-0 SU and ATS the L3. Total Players will need to take a look at the Over as it is 4-0 ATS the L4 Bowl games. This will be the second straight ACC-Pac 10 matchup after Florida State beat UCLA last year.
