Those 2-0 records, though, weren't created equally, and the oddsmakers at the Bodog Sportsbook have the ranked Gamecocks set as big 17-point home favorites on the college football betting lines for Saturday's matchup. South Carolina is 1-1 ATS on the season, while Navy is a perfect 2-0 vs. the college football odds.

South Carolina turned up the offense in a 56-37 win over East Carolina in their opener two weeks ago, then knocked off Georgia 45-42 last week.

Gamecocks QB Stephen Garcia was good on just 11 of his 25 pass attempts for 142 yards against the Bulldogs, with one touchdown strike and two interceptions. Garcia also ran for a score in the contest.

Running back Marcus Lattimore drove South Carolina to their win over Georgia with 174 yards rushing and a touchdown. Melvin Ingram also ran for a score on the day.

Navy built up their 2-0 mark by beating Delaware 40-17 in Week 1 and then getting past Western Kentucky 40-14 last weekend. The win over the Hilltoppers was costly, though, as running back Aaron Santiago was lost for the season with a broken arm.

Santiago ran for a score for Navy before exiting last week's win, while John Howell rushed for 113 yards with two touchdowns. Quarterback Kriss Proctor completed just three passes in the game, but they were for 100 yards and two touchdowns.
