If you are into offensive football, you will want to tune into Saturday
afternoon’s Big 12 game between No. 20 Baylor and No. 21 Texas A&M in
College Station. The Aggies opened as 9.5-point favorites with the total at a
whopping 75.5 on Bodog’s NCAA football odds. Both these teams are in the Top 20 in the nation and both defenses really
can’t stop anyone. Baylor (4-1, 1-1 Big 12) enters off a 49-26 win over Iowa
State – the Bears have allowed at least 26 points to the four FBS teams they
have faced thus far. Baylor put up 603 yards on the Cyclones, led by Heisman
candidate QB Robert Griffin III, who rushed for 107 yards and a
score and threw for 212 and another TD. He leads the nation in completing 80.3
percent of his passes. The Bears probably should be unbeaten but blew a
nine-point fourth-quarter lead in a loss to Kansas State in the previous
game. The Aggies (3-2, 1-1), in their final season in the Big 12, also could well
be unbeaten, having blown huge leads in close losses to ranked teams Oklahoma
State and Arkansas. A&M bounced back from those losses with a 45-40 shootout
win over Texas Tech last week. QB Ryan Tannehill passed for 189
yards and a touchdown and added two rushing TDs. But A&M still might have
lost as it allowed TTU to gain 523 yards. Two blocked Red Raider field goals,
including one returned for a score, were the difference for A&M. This likely will be the final meeting of these teams for a long while with
A&M off to the SEC next year. This is only the seventh time in 108 meetings
both are ranked when facing off. A&M won last year 42-30 and is 13-2 vs.
Baylor as members of the Big 12. Get the best NCAA football odds and props at the Web’s gaming leader
