Baseball Trading Deadline Winners- Cubs & Indians!

Last week the Cubs traded for lefty Aroldis Chapman from the NY Yankess. That broke up what was considered to be the top bull pen in the majors in Dellin Betances, Andrew Miller and Chapman. The Cubs weren't exactly hurting when it came to their bullpen. Closer Hector Rondon was and still is having a great year with a record of 1-2, with 18 saves and a ERA under 2.00! Rondon will now move to the set up man in the 8th inning. That will push Pedro Strop who in 43 games had a record of 2-2, with 18 holds an an ERA of 2.87, and lefty Travis Wood is 3-0, with 10 holds and an ERA of 2.88 to the 7th inning. Both have done a fine job in relief this year. The Cubs bullpen might not be as good as the Yankees, but it is damn close! Just another smart move by Joe Madden and the Cubs front office.

The Indians are another big Winner getting lefty Andrew Miller from Yankees, the second part of that great relief staff. This makes the Indians the odds on favorite to win the AL! The Indians have the best Starting staff in the AL to go along with a very fine line-up lead by All-Star SS Francisco Lindor!
